This class uses a worksheet format to help you go deeper and learn what God reveals about Himself and people in His word. Wednesdays at noon you're invited to share what you've discovered and discuss areas of confusion. You'll be amazed at what you learn!
Thursdays @ 7p - Lex Christian
Following the model in Acts, Kingdom-focused prayer allows believers to see God do amazing things! You are invited to be a part of this great movement for our community, nation and world. While a variety of prompts are used to keep things fresh yet focused, it is also a time for being tender-hearted toward God listening for His still small voice. NOTE: You do NOT have to pray out loud to be involved.

PURPOSE: To offer a safe environment for support and encouragement of health and wellness goals. Although we will be discussing weight loss and maintenance with an optional scale check for accountability, we encourage including God as a partner in the process of self-care through prayer and devotions.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Members can follow their doctors recommendations or an alternate option. Although we encourage you to include God in your journey, this is not a Bible study group. Devotions are made available on our weekly handout. A typical meeting lasts ½ an hour with discussions on a variety of topics including success strategies, nutrition and its effects on the body, and how to be successful by setting small achievable goals. The hope is to equip each member with the motivated to take the best care of the body God has deemed perfect for them. NOTE: This is an emotional support group based on these foundational verses:
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:7)
